How simple can a scrolling shooter be? How cubist?

An unfinished prototype for the Absurd Aspect Ratio Jam that took 6 hours to get to this point.

You can score but you can't die and plenty of bugs. Best played with the sound turned on since the background track is 50% of the filesize in this build :)

The web version doesn't have background effects based on spectrum data from the music. The best experience comes from a downloadable version.
